I need a simple MFC dialog base program That shows the list of available com ports and allow the user to select one. It should have an open and close button to open the selected port. It should have a text field to enter data with a send button to send the data to the come port. Any input from the com port should be displayed in another read-only text field. In addition it shoud show the status of the com port, open, not available, etc.
