Analysis of e commerce websites

For this assignment you will examine 3 different e-commerce websites and consider how their design facilitates and augments the usability of their web page(s) and examine what tools and techniques are employed to provide the core functionality. If you were designing a website, which of the design inclusions would you use? Requirements: 1. Find and compare at least 3 websites that can inform the design of an e-commerce site 2. Provide an overview of how the pages present the company products and how the purchasing process is implemented. 3. Outline the HTML components (tags) and scripting that supports the key functionality. 4. Apply your findings to create a web site map and code design for an online shopping site (you can choose any product you would like to buy on the web). Outline the HTML, any style components and scripting you would use to develop a site for your products. 5. Present the overview of the primary functions, HTML components and scripting from your three compared pages and for your own product website. Outline your site map and page code design in a report.
