5+ years experience. Excellent problem solving and investigation skills. Good attention to detail. Clear and effective communication. Xero advisor certification and Xero payroll certification. BAS preparation experience and including GST understanding and reconciliation and payroll/super reconciliation – and ability to find and fix errors. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations, ensuring all back up documentation is attached and in order and correct. Prepare monthly and quarterly IAS and BAS, performing all cross checks and investigating and fixing any discrepancies. Reconcile payroll and super and prepare super payments. Process payroll. Assist with the set up of task lists and procedures to enable expansion of the business. Onboarding new clients – setting new clients up in all relevant software systems. Preparation of annual TPAR report for submission to the ATO. Preparation of annual STP Finalisation for submission to the ATO. Balance sheet reconciliations. Cash flow forecast preparations. Xero tidy up and rescue – investigating and fixing all issues in client file. Annual ABN checks. Writing blog posts and other admin tasks as required. Liaison with clients.
