Japanese Passive Verb Understanding

I am seeking to understand Japanese passive verb and sentence construction: 最近、私のモペット点火システムは機能しませんでした。 Recently, my moped ignition system did not work. それで、タクシーを呼ぶ必要がありました。さもなければ、仕事に遅れました。 So, I had to call for a taxi, otherwise I would have been late for work. そこから、さまざまな問題が発生されました。 From there, various problems occurred. まずだいいち、タクシーの運転手が遅れて到着されました。 First of all, the taxi driver arrived late. 全体を通して、私の目的地までゆっくりとうんてんされてもりいました。 I was driven slowly to my destination throughout. 最終的には、タクシー運転手はより高い料金を支払われました。 Eventually, the taxicab driver was paid a higher fee. 私は仕事にほとんど遅れられました。 I was almost late for work。 あとで、勤務シフトの終わり近くに、電話がされて入りました。 Later, there was a phone call near the end of the work shift. 私は次の勤務シフトに入るまで最大30分滞在されました。 I stayed up to 30 minutes going into the next work shift. 遅く家に帰られました。 I went home late. I wrote the sentences on my own. Maybe some of the sentences don't require passive verb form. I am looking for advice if any of the sentences would be appropriate to use passive verb form. (1)I am thinking I am supposed to use it, when something annoyed me, but I could not express it outright. I did not want to pay, the $25 for the fare. I did not have any money on me afterward (2)I did not like that I had to wait and work into the other officer's shift by a half hour. And then, to come home late, and work into another job which is at the residence where I live. (3)I don't have a clear sense how to use passive verb structure.
