Linux Custom Scripting

We use a system HSPcomplete to manage VPSs. We want to do the following: 1. Edit HSPcompletes CP to add a link in the CP to "weekly health check" 2. Setup a new server which will interact with the database on the HSPcomplete server. 3. It will pull information from the HSPcomplete server database as follows for managed accounts which have the option enabled. You can create a perl script which we can set to run upon creation of a new subscription. We can create the action to run /path/to/script/[login to view URL] or something similar. The script would essentially "tell" the server that there is a new subscription and pass the VEID on to the server. 4. In the system, there will be an admin control panel fully secured which can only be accessed by specific IPs that we set. In here we will set the IP of each node and the corresponding HWID from HSPcomplete. SSH keys will be distributed so passwords are not required to login to the nodes. 5. Every day at 2AM the system will start running the program. The VEIDs which have gone 7 days without a scan is what will be used. The system will connect to HSPcompletes database, pull the HWID and e-mail address corresponding to the VEID. It will need to pull this data each time it goes to do the scan as the HWID and e-mail address may change in HSPcomplete. 6. The system will use SSH to connect to the node using the HWID and run these commands: vzctl enter VEID su - run rkhunter scan and then run chkrootkit scan parse the output of the scans into a PDF and e-mail the PDF to the customer admin on file. 7. Similar to number 4 above, another script will be on the HSPcomplete system to pass on the VEID when the subscription has been terminated. This will then remove the information from the server you have setup. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux - CentOS 4 and CentOS 5.
